Las Vegas kid attraction - there's a lot more for kids and parents to see in Vegas than you might think. Vegas has free and paid attractions on the Strip that are very popular. If you travel outside Vegas there are museums and national parks close by.

A Las Vegas kid attraction on the Strip includes the smoldering volcano at the Mirage, the Sirens of TI at Treasure Island, the Conservatory and outdoor fountains at the Bellagio, the Lion Habitat at the MGM Grand, the Wildlife Habitat with flamingos at the Flamingo, the talking statue shows at Caesar's Palace, the Streetmosphere at the Venetian with mimes and singers and the Masquerade Show in the Sky at the Rio. All these events are free. You will need more than a couple of days to experience them all.

If your kids are over 10, let them give their opinion on TV shows, products and food tasting at the CBS Television City Research Center at the MGM Grand. They have the same set up at the Preview Studios in the Venetian.

The Adventuredome at Circus Circus is a Las Vegas kid attraction that will keep children busy for hours. Included is a game arcade, free acrobatics show, bumper cars, and thrill rides like the Sling Shot, the Canyon Blaster, the Inverter and Chaos. On the Strip find it by looking for the big pink top with 5 acres of fun inside. Ticket prices are reasonable.

Attention thrill seekers, you'll find additional rides on top of the tallest observation tower in America at the Stratosphere. The Big Shot, XScream and Insanity the Ride are part of Stratosphere's extreme fun. You must be 48 -54 inches tall depending on the ride. More attractions at both the Sahara and New York, New York with roller coaster rides daily.

Kids will also enjoy the M&M World next to the MGM with 4 floors of candies, souvenirs, a 3D movie theater and the NASCAR Race area. Next door to the M&M World is the GameWorks arcade. There is a wide selection of digital games for horse racing, downhill skiing, snowboarding and more. Kids can also climb into simulator fighter jets and tanks. On the softer side, kids can play the air hockey and pinball machines.

If you want to have a birthday party or event for your kids, try the NASCAR Entertainment Center at the Sahara. It has 35,000 square feet of racing simulators, a Café with pastas and pizzas, memorabilia and simulation driving on the Las Vegas Cyber Speedway.

Kids enjoy watching the feeding frenzy and mermaid shows at the 117,000 gallon salt water aquarium at the Silverton Hotel. When in Venice do like the Venetians and ride the gondola. Or experience the Mysteries of the Nile on the 7 story high screen at the IMAX Theater in the Luxor. Better yet, be a trainer for the day and swim with the dolphins at the Dolphin Habitat at the Mirage for your next Las Vegas kid attraction.
