MyRealVegas.com las vegas strip and why this is the most spectacular street in America, what to do and see free - by Jason

Las Vegas Strip

The Strip Las Vegas is the greatest five mile stretch of the most interesting, variety packed, fun filled WALKABLE and SAFE adventure you'll find in all the world. Nothing can touch it. I used to laugh when my friends from Florida would tell me how awesome New Orleans was because for 3 city blocks you could walk around the streets with open bottles of beer. So what! Vegas has 5 miles of sheer grandeur hitched to the supreme freedom to do fun things you can't even buy at any price outside of Nevada's biggest casino district.

What makes this place so awesome? Let me give you some raw facts and remember every time I mention a big number that means BIG fun. 20 of the 25 largest hotels in the world are on the Strip. DO you have any idea what these casino hotels lobbies, pools and adult playgrounds look like and offer? Incredible.

Friends come here and think they will take a day and hotel hop like you would at Disney World in Florida or San Francisco, just taking pictures of the grand entrances and special architecture that is all Vegas. HA! IT takes a solid week to see it all and that is only if you have legs and feet that can handle the walking. I have been living here for 14 years and they still amaze me and I am not easy to please.

The strip has been redefined and resized hundreds of times over the last 30 years. The strip is all the casinos, hotels, resorts, entertainment clubs, restaurants, party places from downtown Las Vegas all the way to the Southpoint casino on the way to California. In the next 20 years all the blank spots in between will be completely filled and the strip will be 11 miles of sheer unbelievable excitement.

I own a condo 1.5 miles from Project CityCenter, a 66-acre $8 billion multi-use stripfront and is one of the grandest real estate developments to ever hit an American city. In fact it is the largest such project in the world. If you are living a boring go nowhere life, sell everything, move here and buy any real estate in Vegas and in one simple move transform your idea of living.

The best way to experience the strip is with a pair of comfortable walking shoes and two weeks to play. Walk every other day going in and out of each place on the strip and explore everything from the shops, eateries, and free shows like Fountains at Bellagio, the volcano at The Mirage, and the Treasure Island "TI" Sirens. Every other day enjoy the casino gambling scenes, shows and drinks by the massive 3-8 acre pool complexes.

Can't handle the comprehensive walk and see everything approach? Then try a taxi cab available at every location, CAT double decker buses known as The Deuce, monorail daily bus passes, or tourist trolley service. There are also two small, free trams on the Strip. One connects Treasure Island to The Mirage. The second connects Mandalay Bay, Luxor, and Excalibur on the Las Vegas Strip.
