If you want music and dancing with a view go to the Voodoo Lounge at the Rio or try Mix on top of TheHotel at the Mandalay Bay. Tryst in the Wynn has its own 94 foot waterfall. Tao in the Venetian has a 20 foot Buddha, entertainment complex, restaurant and ultra lounge. Most clubs have dress codes.
You'll find after hours fun (after 2:30 am) in clubs like Teatro and Drai's on the Strip. Late Night at the House of Blues features different bands and music every night. Other late night action includes gentlemen's clubs located off the Strip. Note - many have free drinks or great prices during happy hour. Gentlemen's clubs have hundreds of beautiful entertainers who perform lap dances. Bring lots of cash.
Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville at the Flamingo is one of the wildest bars in town. Located literally on the Strip, it's great for people watching, dancing and drinking with your friends. Country Western lovers will want to go to Toby Keith's I Love this Bar and Grill in Harrah's. Try his favorites, fried bologna sandwich and sweet potato pecan pie.
Nightlife in Las Vegas includes the gay scene as well. Krave, next to the Miracle Mile Shops in Planet Hollywood features Lucky Cheng's Drag Cabaret, Tuesday through Sunday. Lounges on the Strip also have a variety of entertainment. There are live bands and dancing every night in Le Cabaret at the Paris and dueling pianos at the Bar at Times Square in the New York, New York.
Every hotel has a headliner show like Barry Manilow at the Hilton or "Cirque du Soleil's" O at the Bellagio. Topless shows include Folies Bergere at the Tropicana and Crazy Horse at the MGM Grand. This town has a lot to offer when it comes to nightlife in Las Vegas.
