Red Rock Casino Poker Room

Written by Jason on September 22, 2008 – 9:35 am -

Just got back from a great experience at Red Rock Casinos poker room in Las Vegas Nevada. Played Texas No limit holdem with a $105 buy in and total payout of $4400 or so with 51 entrants. Gave us 6000 in chips and with 30 minute blinds the tournament never ends sooner than 4 hours. Nice medium speed poker tournament. I did quite well with only 5 of us remaining at the final table. However, I continued to play to strong and aggressive instead of waiting for the ONE guy that did not want to chop to get kicked out. Then the four remaining players would have chopped over $1,000 each. I pushed too hard and got beat for all my chips in two hands back to back. Poker staff are knowlegeable, pleasant, fair, and the room is big and clean. Great place to do the pool scene too.

Harrahs Hotel Las Vegas Overview

Written by opi on September 7, 2008 – 9:00 pm -

Harrah’s Hotel Las Vegas is noisy, wild and it’s the raw Las Vegas. From the screaming upbeat poker room on weekends to the entertainment both in the casino and outside on the street. They have one of the funniest sculptures I have ever seen of two real Vegas old timers that really captures the spirit of this place. The two towers of rooms at Harrahs are named Mardi Gras and the smaller room is named Carnival. There aren’t many rooms with a view of the strip, but you can get one. Visit Harrahs for complete details.
