Airlines To Weigh You At Check In

Emergency times call for emergency measures. Airlines are have combined losses of over $6 billion dollars this year.
Airlines are considering charging your airline travel by the pound – your pounds, how much you weight, the same way freight carriers do. Airlines tried weighing passengers in the 1970’s, and they found it was very hard to get customers on the scale, “nearly impossible,” said one air travel agent.
Experts say the solution lies in capacity cuts – less flights, using filled planes. Which means airlines are starting to sideline their own jets. Customers will notice any service cuts, and competitors can take advantage of that. Competition for customers is going to get stiff, try to get the best deal you can flying to Las Vegas at MyRealVegas.

Southwest solution is to fly slower. You won’t notice since it’s only 72 seconds slower. Could mean more flight delays, and penalities have been doubled against the airlines this year for passenger delays and bumps.
Southwest will charge passengers for 2 seats if the armrest can not be lowered.
