Aquarium Silverton Hotel Las Vegas has a huge 117,000-gallon saltwater aquarium. And the best part is it’s free! That’s right,  giant aquarium for no cost to you. There is seating around the aquarium as well as from the Mermaid Restaurant and Lounge. The Silverton Hotel Aquarium is an octagonal shape, so you can walk all around it and see every bit of it. There are 5,000 exotic fish as well as vibrant coral. There are three species of sharks and three species of stingrays. Three times a day a marine biologist feeds the fish and also interacts with guests answering questions. As well as a mermaid show several times a day. Visit Aquarium Silverton for complete details.

When I come to Las Vegas with the kids we usually end up in Shark Reef. But this sounds good esepcially because its free. how does it compare to Shark reef?

Shark reef is a huge complete commercial stay for 3-4 hours day trip whereas the Silvertons is free. Most people won’t spend more than 35 minutes at the AQUAIRIUM portion of Silverton but the entire place is worth seeing. Here the kids will like it because they can wander around and look at HUNDREDS of animals on display at the worlds largest Bass Pro Shop with waterfalls, rock displays, gear and clothes and toys for sale.
