It is located right outside Venetion across the pedestrian walkway right on the strip. This wax museum is special because you are allowed to touch the figures and get as close as you want. Hoover Dam
Written by opi on March 17, 2009 – 11:37 am -Hoover Dam stories have always interested me so I went to see this sucker. I was shocked at the size and scope of this awesome creation. It is definitely worth seeing if you need a break from Vegas for a day. It is located in Boulder City, about 30 miles from Vegas.

Rafting the Colorado River
Written by opi on March 13, 2009 – 11:27 am -Rafting the Colorado River can be a lot of fun right out of Las Vegas. The giant canyons are close to the action for river raft adventures. You can make arrangements on your own, though I do not advise it due to the complexity of this particular excursion. I advise using the tour companies listed on this page as they are accurate, affordable and worth every penny you spend with them.

Adventure Canyon Buffalo Bills

It’s a totally interactive log ride, which happens to be the first interactive log ride in the world. This is not one of those rides where you just sit in a fiberglass car that looks like a log with a dozen other thrill seekers and shake around for 90 seconds. This is a four-minute flume ride with a 35-foot drop and you’ll be wet by the end of it. Visit Adventure Canyon for complete details.

Adventuredome Circus Circus Las Vegas
Written by opi on December 26, 2008 – 8:19 pm -Adventuredome Circus Circus in Las Vegas is covered by a five-and-a-half acre pink glass dome. But this is no little girly theme park. This place is packed full of lightning-fast rides and fast-action laser tag. The fastest ride inside the Dome is the Sling Shot. In this ride you can experience 4 Gs shooting towards the pink ceiling and 1 G going back down to the ground. Visit Adventuredome for complete details.
