The Broiler Restaurant Review Las Vegas

Written by Jason on November 13, 2008 – 5:25 pm -

A locals little secret, The Broiler inside Palace Station hotel and casino is one block off the strip. Get in a cab and experience this or drive over they have super easy front door parking. The fantastic affordable meals make this worth the time every time. The Broiler meals come with a delicious all you can eat side salad bar too. The salad bar has unique foods, recipes and soups beyond those of an ordinary lettuce bar. They beat all the seafood joints in town for the price. Order the Halibut broiled. Then share a $5 order of Pontchartrain sauce with your dining partner. It is a pure delight: a delicious white onion sauce plus chunks of steaming hot seafood. The Broiler is quiet too. I had the $11 lunch special that was simply unbelievable in this town: Shrimp and Scallop Divoli over linguini. Fantastic red sauce pasta dish with the biggest shrimp and scallops I have ever eaten PLUS the all you can eat salad bar. Nothing compares for this price anywhere in Vegas.

Pyramid Cafe Luxor Hotel and Casino Las Vegas Review

Written by Jason on October 13, 2008 – 7:08 pm -

I did not like the Pyramid Cafe in the Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas Nevada. The service was terrible and even while ordering and repeating our orders we got the feeling he did not understand English very well. The wrong food came and he just shrugged and said “well that is kind of like what you ordered”. My wife’s baked potato was completely overcooked, hard as a rock and nearly unedible. We were running late for a show so we could not stick around and complain too long. Normal deep fried foods and wimpy salads make the Pyramid cafe a bad choice for a place to eat unless you just want something to stuff down your throat for less than $12.

BLT Burger Restaurant Las Vegas Review

Written by Jason on October 11, 2008 – 10:23 pm -

I had a classic pathetic overpriced destroy the tourist budget and take them for everything you can meal at the BLT Burger in Las Vegas inside the MGM Mirage casino and hotel. Great layout, huge paintings on the wall and tons of cute young girls hanging all around the front entrance are about the ONLY reason anyone should even thing about eating here. I spent nearly $20 for the burger, shake and fries and they sucked. Really. Dry overcooked tiny little 7 oz precooked size excuse for a hamburger along with about 12 overcooked fries choked down with a decent but SMALL milkshake. Do not waste your money as this BLT Burger by Bistro Laurent Tourondel restaurant is not worth the time it takes to read the menu. Walk up check out the scenery then find a better place to eat.
