Aladdin Hotel Las Vegas has just spent $120 million for renovations. The facelift is both external and internal. The Aladdin has been through many changes over the years including bankruptcies and a demolition, it is ready to compete with neighboring casinos. The new money has brought the casino to star level. Unbelievable!
WHY?
Because I think Miss USA should always be a blonde.
And there is a reason. You see, Miss Universe is always dark haired.

In fact Miss Universe is pretty much a contest of dark haired beauties. Miss Japan won Miss Universe 2007 pictured here.

Texas WINS Miss USA 2008 Las Vegas

 Miss Texas pictured here wins Miss USA 2008 in Las Vegas tonight. 

Anticipation was high tonight at the Miss USA pageant in Vegas. The evening started out with all 51 contestants walking out in their swimsuits and then their evening gowns. Judges narrowed down the candidates to the top 15.

Miss USA Pageant 2008 held in Las Vegas, Nevada

Miss USA Las Vegas is being hosted at Planet Hollywood on the Strip this year. Las Vegas will be home to the Miss USA pageant for the first time. Donald Trump, who owns Miss World Competition and Miss USA franchise, hopes Las Vegas will add glitz and glamour the Miss USA pageant that has been lacking in recent years.

I went to the preliminary pageant held on Friday, April 5 2008, held at Planet Hollywood.

I went to the preliminary pageant held last night at Planet Hollywood Casino. The stage was attractive, especially when the contestants filled it out with their swimsuits. I noticed the girls have really become athletic with thin, well-defined muscular bodies.

At the Miss USA pageant held in Las Vegas 2008, swimsuit competion pictured here was part of the contest.

One particularly promising canidate was the vivacious Miss Wisconsin. With her feline eyes and high cheekbones, she may well end up the winner.  See below.

Another striking contestant was Miss Minnesota. The crowd went wild for this radiant, young woman. See photo below.

Altogether the women of 2008 Miss USA held at Planet Hollywood presented a beautiful assortment of shapes and color as they pose in their evening gowns. Many of the young women made their own gowns.
