Insider Secret - Find amazing hotel deals when you book at the last minute, especially when there are no large conventions in town. |
Rooms at the Palace Station Casino are affordable and comfortable. Ride the glass elevator to your spacious Tower Room. Views are stunning from here of the Strip or the Downtown area. Staying in a Suite is like staying in a penthouse apartment. Suites are always on the top floor at the Palace and they offer great views.
Courtyard rooms are newly remodeled and sit in a 2-story building. Be aware, there is no elevator if you're on the second floor. Our only other caveat is to watch out for the shelf above the sink. It juts out just enough for you to hit your head on when you bend over the sink. Room rates are inexpensive when you check this page's sponsor.
Slots and table games are hot here. Over 1,600 slots and video poker machines, including Megabucks, are available. Pit 8 features Pai Gow Tiles and Poker, which the Asian community enjoys. Palace's large Bingo room is one of the best in town, followed by the Bingo room at the Gold Coast and the Southpoint. The hotel offers 57 table games like baccarat, craps, blackjack, Let It Ride, roulette and more. The poker room is open 24 hours and is non-smoking.
When looking for the Palace Station Casino, take the Sahara exit off the I15 going west and it will be directly on your left. You can access the Strip within minutes via freeway or Sahara Avenue. Ample parking and Valet parking are readily available. Free shuttles will take you to the Strip or McCarran International Airport.
Comedy is king here. Top comedians from around the country entertain in the 150 seat showroom called LA Comedy Club. The show is 2 hours long with 2 headlining comedians, Friday through Sunday night. The Pasta Palace features Wes Winters on keys every Monday night. It's one price for both the pasta dinner and the show.
For an off-Strip hotel, dining is very good at the Palace. The Broiler has fantastic fish like trout and halibut. Chang's offers cuisine from Hong Kong. The Pasta Palace has all you can eat pasta for under $10. The Feast Gourmet Buffet is on the top floor of the casino with a wide selection of choices. Watch your favorite oyster dish being made at the Oyster Bar, or head over to the Grand Café for some of the biggest waffles in town. Other dining options include Subway, Burger King, Jack's Irish Pub and Starbucks at the Palace Station Casino.
