Golf Vacations
Golf
vacations make Las Vegas one of the premier destinations you should seriously
consider for your next golf adventure. From "Imperial Palace" to "Caesar's
Palace" the casino resorts of Las Vegas and surrounding areas offer compelling
packages wrapped around golf. Prices will vary widely. But we noticed some
nice golf packages coming out of Caesar's for 3 nights
including 3 different golf outings at Paiute,
Rio Secco and "Royal Links" for a little over $1000. That's 3 nights and
3 days of golf while staying on the weekend at a 5-star resort. Sweet! Always
make sure you read the fine print and thoroughly understand all pricing. There are
things to consider like: · Who pays for golf cart · Transportation
to golf course · Tee times available to you · Is rental car
large enough for 4 people and 4 club bags · Is tax included Prices
will vary for the same golf package at the same resort depending on the date. Vegas
room rates fluctuate like gasoline and airline fare prices. Resorts already know which
dates are going to be extra busy and charge a premium of several hundred dollars for
them. Golf packages are not as transparent as hotel travel packages. In general,
there is less information and fewer deals to choose from. Golf packages are harder
to find, and because it is a more complicated buy, there is more you need to know. Don't
see what you want? Call any of the resorts or website services which offer packages
and ask them to put together a custom quote of where you want to stay, and where you
want to golf. Need a golf tournament in Vegas?
These same services will even put together a golf tournament. They pride themselves
on getting what you want - just ask for it. Vegas is a wonderful place for golf.
With all the pampering and luxury spas you'll feel completely taken care of. The non-golf
diversions like shopping, shows, music, eating, clubbing, gambling, people watching
are phenomenal and will keep everyone hopping when not on the course. It's all part
of your golf vacation in Las Vegas. A guy once told me that to prepare for Vegas
you really have to start cutting back on your sleep before you get here so you can
keep the long hours this town demands. The average visitor sleeps about only 3.5 hours
a night. Become a local, you can go back to 7 hours and save up for those all night
"poker" blitzes. Getting to Vegas is easy. Hundreds of flights come
in and out of McCarran International
Airport everyday. When you arrive you will be given a courteous, comfortable taxi,
van or limo ride to your hotel as part of your golf package. You can stay at 5-star
hotels like Bellagio,
Mandalay Bay or the "Venetian."
There are even condominium properties for use. Others go for the secret spots like
Alexis Park or Rio All Suites. Go ahead, heat up your frosty months with golf
vacations to Las Vegas and its 323 sunshiny days a year. There has never been a better
time to buy a round of golf in this golfer's paradise. Just remember the tricks for
getting your perfect par day. Keep in mind Friday through Sunday are busy days, look
mid-week for more availability and better deals. Our winter which has 65 degree days
and summer which can be over 100 are the best times for seasonal bargains. Morning
and evening tee times fill quickly in the summer months, so book soon and make Vegas
one of your best golf vacations.
