Insider Secret - Summer is the very best time for deals on golf packages. Winter is second. |
Golf packages can have certain restrictions. Most have to be purchased 10 days before your play date. While a 30 day cancellation in advance is necessary to get your money back. The fine print usually says that these discounts can not be doubled with any other discounts. Just make sure you read everything and plan your trip carefully. That is the way I have a pleasant, carefree time, and you will too.
A Stay and Play package is the most common Las Vegas golf package. Plan on packages for 3 days, 2 nights and 2 rounds of golf. If you buy the 4 day, 3 nights, 3 rounds of golf, your price will go down significantly for each day, though the overall price is still higher. These packages are called Stay and Play because you stay in their casino and golf on their golf course or affiliate's golf course. Summer is the best time of year to get a deal, when the prices are lowest. Winter is cheaper too, and it can be a beautiful 64 degrees and sunny for golfing. Fall and spring are the busiest golfing times here. The discount golf minded can look for deals in mid-week. Or before 8 a.m. or after lunch.
Stay and Plays should have more flexibility than Golf Only. Stay and Play should not have restricted tee times or restricted days of the week. Also, if you want to stay longer and play more rounds, you should be able to add these days and rounds onto your Las Vegas golf package at a discounted rate. Make sure you see what the details are in writing, as phone calls can be confusing.
Golf Only is another type of Las Vegas golf package for those who already have a place to stay in Vegas. Pricing is usually based on one person playing 2 rounds of golf. Though the packages are called 2 rounds of golf, don't be confused, they are for one person only. Other restrictions can apply. Golf Only packages often have tee times before 8 a.m. Also check whether it is weekday or weekend restricted. Make sure you know what they mean by mid-week. Look for some great packages on this page with low pricing.
