Insider Secret - Save a little and have more fun. Be sure to ask at the lobby for coupons and promotions to Circus Circus restaurants. |
Circus Circus Hotel in Las Vegas is at the northern end of the Strip, across the street from the Riviera. From McCarran International Airport it's just 4.5 miles and a quick cab ride. Parking at the hotel is free and there's plenty of it. Catch the Deuce bus in front of the hotel every 6 minutes. It will take you north and south on the Strip.
It has 35 floors as well as a shopping mall which connects 2 towers, the Skyrise and the Casino Towers. But the newest tower, the West Tower, is the place to stay. Rooms are comparable to Harrah's on the Strip. Don't expect the luxury of the Hilton or the Mirage. This hotel was built in the late 60s. Rooms are clean and spacious. Housekeeping service daily. Ask for a room with a view of the Strip.
The RV Park run by the KOA is a great alternative to staying in a hotel. It is full-service with showers and bathrooms, a convenience store, washer/dryers, all the utility hook-ups and a pet run. Another advantage is you are next to the casino if you want to dine out, see a show or do a little gambling. How perfect is that!
The Adventuredome is a unique attraction at the Circus Circus Hotel in Las Vegas. Parents can relax while kids get their faces painted by clowns, ride the roller coaster or bumper cars. They're designed for kids ages 6-14, with nothing as scary as the thrill rides on top of the Stratosphere. You and your children can enjoy the free circus acrobatic shows performed every 20 minutes from 11 am to midnight. On the upper deck kids can play video games and win small, stuffed animals using lots of your dollars.
Mexitalia X-Press serves both Mexican and Italian. When the hotel is running a 2 for 1 promotion take them up on it and dine here. At least try the nachos and spaghetti once. The Garden Grill serves huge portions, so only go if you and the kids are really hungry. The Pizzeria cooks everything fresh and kids will love the bland pizzas made for their palettes.
For a great dining experience, The Steak House is excellent. The ambiance is nothing like a circus. It's elegant with aged, good-sized steaks, and less expensive than the Steakhouse at Camelot at the Excalibur. It's fun for the whole family at the Circus Circus Hotel in Las Vegas.
