Green Valley Ranch Resort Las Vegas is seriously fun and glamorous at the same time. My wife and I have stayed here more times than any other resort in Vegas and we have never been disappointed. This Mediterranean-style AAA Four Diamond and award-winning resort has cool hip nightlife, pool side parties, outdoor hot tubs, and the casino is surrounded by upscale shopping & dining. There are championship golf courses close by too.

Grape vines in the desert? Only at Green Valley Ranch Resort where you can pick and eat on your way to the spa and fitness center.

One of the best top notch resort experiences I have ever had. Great room, ask for a pool view BALCONY room in the East tower if you want the best. "It's not like you could spend a lot of time out here on the balcony, but we did spend some quality time" said Kelly about our Green Valley Resort balcony overlooking the 8-acre pool complex.

There are plenty of different kinds of pools, a classy casino, and the movie theaters and kids Arcade are clean and security staffed. Rooms offer pool and Strip views or mountains views. Green Valley Ranch has luxuriously comfortable beds with soft linens, plump down comforters and pillows, marble bathrooms, high-speed Internet access, minibars, twice-daily turndown service and even robes to use. The balcony rooms are the best that overlook the pool otherwise for spectacular views consider Red Rock Resort - Green Valleys' sister resort to the west.

Green Valley Ranch has the hippest pool with a big sandy beach to occupy the kids and shallow places for reading and canoodling in 3 inches of water. You can use the poolside lounging equipment, teak lounge chairs, and thick queen-size mattresses strewn with pillows for free. They serve drinks and food poolside. In the winter though they close the outdoor pools so you can only use the indoor hot tub through the Spa entrance.

The spa area is awesome! Do not miss it! The Spa at Green Valley Ranch has a bunch of therapies and whole body treatments, a really nice fitness center, and a private lap pool and hot tub. There are 8+ restaurants plus a food court, concierge, business center, 24-hour room service, in-room massage, laundry service, dry cleaning, nonsmoking rooms, and executive-level rooms with balconies. There is also a 10-screen Regal Cinemas theater and arcade. Just next door is The District at Green Valley Ranch, a simulated street scene, which houses 40+ sophisticated retail stores along with restaurants on the first level with luxury condominiums above them.

Whiskey Beach is actually the pools described above, vineyards, and an amphitheater for outdoor concerts and events called Ovation. Private, pay extra, poolside cabanas offer beds for lounging, mister systems, TVs and phones. It is located at the center of the casino overlooking the pool area.

The fitness center at Green Valley Ranch has sliding glass doors all the way across one wall. Some cool mornings the doors are open and it feels so good to run on the treadmill with the fresh air coming in. The lap pool and other facilities at the spa are for adults only.

When it comes to comps Green Valley really takes care of you. They comped us two nights for NEW YEARS EVE, provided a complimentary 5 course gourmet filet mignon steak and Maine lobster dinner, hosted the party with all the favors, big screens for the New York City countdown, live band, gave us beautiful Waterford Crystal stemware. They simply provided a first class way to enjoy new years eve in Vegas. We figure the entire comp was worth at least $1200.

Kelly, my wife, said she really enjoyed the adult only pool, the Pond, which plays great music and the vibe is hot and fun. Ultimately, the spa pool and facilities are unbeatable. Her favorite part of the day included working out with good machines, treadmills, and bikes, grabbing some fruit and herbal tea from the spa, swimming in the lap pool, tanning on the queen-size cushions, and then going to the women's spa for a relaxing shower and pampering herself with perks from the Green Valley Ranch Resort Spa. Yes, you read it right, she chose the spa as her favorite over eating dinner, although Hank's is absolutely delicious and beautiful, though very expensive.
