Green Valley Ranch Resort - I don't know why you would need it but they offer twice daily maid service. This place is an absolute oasis of beauty. If you have a spouse that does not like the gambling scene then bring them here. Problem solved. You can play all day inside and they can play all day outside in the pools, parks, shops, gyms and spa. Then you can hook up each night for some good "I am having a great time lets make it even better" time.

I really like the fact that not many people know about Green Valley. I love the real goose down pillows and comforter, and free use of a nice plush robe, the super clean rooms, and the layout close to the pools. You can see the Strip and surrounding mountains from many room windows.

This is a picture of the main pool at Green Valley Ranch Resort. It has a beach at one end and chairs in the water at another end. There are also lap pools and hot tubs surrounded by very, very comfortable lounge chairs and beds for sun bathing.

Green Valley Ranch Resort Las Vegas is seriously fun and glamorous at the same time. My wife and I have stayed here more times than any other resort in Vegas and we have never been disappointed. This Mediterranean-style AAA Four Diamond and award-winning resort has cool hip nightlife, pool side parties, outdoor hot tubs, and the casino is surrounded by upscale shopping & dining. There are championship golf courses close by too.

Green Valley is surrounded by a huge outdoor shopping area called The District which has 20+ restaurants as well as great stores. There is a nice vineyard for picture taking, sandy beaches, complimentary outdoor king size huge cushion beds under shady canopies, a modern movie theater, an amphitheater for outdoor concerts, and the Ovation Lounge, where most nights they host live music..

Overview: one of my favorite places to stay in vegas, absolutely stunning
Location: in Henderson off 215 about 6 miles from the Las Vegas Strip
Restaurants: Hank's Fine Steaks & Martinis was super good but it was also one of the most expensive places I have ever eaten. The Original Pancake House is without a doubt the absolute best place in the world to eat breakfast, the buffet was not good at all especially for the price, The Grand Café is open 24 hours a day and always has "locals" specials that they don't tell the tourists about so ASK!
Nightclubs, Lounges: Casino bought all the nightclub space back from the outside vendors and tamed them down so as not to be too big a distraction from the core business of gaming. Not that much fun really.
Casino: 50,000+ square feet, including all table and slot games, Blackjack, Craps, Keno, Let It Ride, Baccarat, Pai Gow Poker, Poker, Roulette, more than 2,100 slot machines, and a large quiet well run live poker room, race & sports book has seating for 160 people with a TV for each chair plus 10+ big screens for viewing major events.
Entertainment: Huge free concerts held almost nightly in a great showroom with seats for everyone, and large paid concerts are held in the 2,000 seat Grand Events Center.
Extras: The ambiance of this place is hard to deny. Absolutely gorgeous pool scene and the lobby is well appointed and worth seeing.
Pools: private pool and hottubs for guests using the spa or gym only, huge sandy beach pool for families with numerous pools and hot tubs surrounding it, plus a private pool hidden in an enclosed tropical area called the POND that was originally topless but now caters to the heavier drinkers and party animals (no kids allowed).
Health Club or Spa: One of the best of both I have ever been in, they don't advertise this but the gym is free to use for hotel guests which gives you private access to a special pool and quiet lounge area with huge padded day beds and cabanas free of charge.
Shopping: no shops inside the casino but just outside the door there is an entire complex of hundreds of shops and restaurants.

Pets allowed: Yes with restrictions
Parking garage: 2 large free indoor parking garages plus limited outdoor parking for oversized vehicles like rv's and buses, free valet is fast
Shuttle service to the airport: complimentary shuttle to and from the Strip
Shuttle service to Strip: complimentary shuttle to and from the Strip
Hotel amenities: Typical, plus valet parking, salon, currency exchange, laundry, luggage handling, electronic check-out
Miscellaneous: Check-in time is 3 pm and Check-out time is 11 am. The minimum age to reserve a room is 21 years and there is a maximum number of guests per room of four. Must provide a credit card for incidentals
