hilton hotel in las vegas has the largest race and sports book in the world - by Kiki

Hilton Hotel In Las Vegas

Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas is smaller than the "Venetian" or "Caesar's Palace" which makes it easy to navigate. It has 40,000 square feet of gaming versus the Aladdin which boasts over 100,000 square feet and over 2,000 slot machines. At the Hilton, you can start with penny slots and go to $100 machines. There are plenty of slot machines to choose from, although some people think the slots are a little tight. Dealers at the table games are all very cordial and it's always easy to get drinks from the waitresses. The service is excellent.

Similar to the "Luxor Hotel Las Vegas, NV," the Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas offers gambling lessons during the week. Brush up on your poker, craps, baccarat, Texas Hold'em, and Let It Ride skills for free. If you attend one of these sessions, they will give you a $10 match play coupon and free dice to use when you play your next table game.

The Hilton claims it has the biggest Race and Sports Book venue in the world. It is amazing and very large with 30,000 plus square feet of action, 300 plus seats, 28 mega sized screens and a giant 15'x20' screen. They also have the longest sports ticker in all of Nevada. If you drive behind the casino on Joe W. Brown Street, you can park right next to the Race and Sports Book. Service staff and waitresses are terrific.

The Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas hosts quite a few tournaments. Throughout the year, you can find video poker tournaments, celebrity poker tournaments, blackjack tournaments and even a world domino open. If you visit their Resorts Destination Casino Club, they will inform you about their latest promotions, drawings and Players Club information. As far as I can tell, they haven't instituted the Red Card concept that seems to be unique to the Wynn Casino Las Vegas. In other words, your room card doubles as your slot machine card and you can accumulate points to pay off your room or show.

When you need a break from gambling, have a large and delicious margarita at Hacienda Margarita or teriyaki steak at Benihana's or try the buffet with free beer and wine at dinner time. There are also plenty of bars to choose from. The Tempo Bar is the Hilton hot spot with table top gaming, international wines and specialty cocktails. It's next to the Hilton Theatre where Barry Manilow and other headliners perform. The Shimmer Cabaret is set up for shows like Menopause The Musical or the Scintas singers and drinks with bar and waitress service.

For gaming in a different environment, check out the SpaceQuest Bar in Star Trek: The Experience. It's a futuristic encounter with video poker, high-tech screens and music in 20,000 square feet including a trading post, emporium and museum. Gaming is always a unique experience at the Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas.
