las vegas hilton hotel my experience at a huge offstrip hotel - by Jason

Hilton Hotel Las Vegas

The Las Vegas Hilton has steadily undergone major renovations to both the hotel and the casino over the last 10 years. If you stayed here years ago and were disappointed; she is one of the longest running operations in the city, then try the Hilton again. You may be in for a pleasant surprise. I think the Hilton is best for convention goers as it it mostly supported by the massive conventions that happen next door.

If you love Star Trek then you MUST see this place. They offer everything from a Star Trek themed slot area and bar, to weddings hosted in USS Enterprise replica room. This makes for weird but fun photos. I have never taken the 4D Star Trek Experience tour but thousands do every month so it must be something to see.

The monorail pictured stops at the Las Vegas Hilton next to the Las Vegas Convention Center.

At the Hilton Hotel Las Vegas, hotel rooms are also designed for corporate meetings, business gatherings and hospitality get-togethers if you so choose. Rooms are built out to 5,000 square feet in the Mini Villa and 10,000 square feet in the Sky Villas.

To get the best sleep, ask for a remodeled room in the North Tower. You have the choice of staying in a Classic room, a standard room with a 27" TV or a Premium room with plasma TVs and more luxurious beds. Every Premium room has a fantastic view of the Strip.

Food choices at the Las Vegas Hilton leave something to be desired. Benihana's Japanese garden décor with ponds serves lobster tail and hibachi steak which is quite good. The Hacienda Margarita makes sweet fruit margaritas. The food was just average though. They also have the worst buffet for the price I have ever had in the valley.
