Insider Secret - Best comps in town. Lots of repeat visitors. 2 long-running entertainment shows. |
Imperial Palace is ideally located in the middle of the Strip right across from some of the best shopping in the world at the Forum Shops in Caesar's Palace and the free entertainment show, Sirens of TI at Treasure Island. Enter IP's Valet Parking from the Strip. But keep an eye out for the entrance, it's easy to miss. Continue driving through the carport and the Valet will take your car. It's free like all Valet parking in Vegas.
Nice rooms with comfortable beds and hot showers. Staff treats you very well. Some guests like the first tower because the elevators are faster; but, be aware the noise from the band in Carnaval Court at Harrah's can go on till 3am. I always ask for a room up high in the back overlooking the pool. Check this page for a great room price. Also know that hotel rates tend to double on weekends and holidays. Book ahead as far as you can.
Whether you want pizza, burgers, seafood, Chinese, steak or just tea, Hotel Imperial Palace Las Vegas has it all. There's even a Teahouse and I highly recommend their prime rib sandwich. Want romance, try Fireside. For Asian, go to Ming; it's less expensive than Asia at Bally's.

There are 2 main attractions at the Imperial Palace: Legends in Concert and The Auto Collection. These 2 long running shows draw repeat visitors. Auto Collection has vintage cars that have belonged to celebrities or politicians; it is a lot of fun to photograph. If you want to take one of these cars home you can - they are for sale.
The Hotel Imperial Palace Las Vegas is famous for its unique Dealertainers. There's nothing like Michael Jackson dealing out your cards while doing a bit of moonwalking. They are truly talented and no other hotel has them.
Gamble here and you will get comps, from free buffets to reduced rates on your room when you check out. A slot card is a must when staying at Imperial Palace. The free cocktails are excellent. The slots can be loose and you get points on your card for even nickel play. Poker room is busy, attracting lots of tourists. It's a good place for beginners. There are even prizes for high hands at the Hotel Imperial Palace Las Vegas.
