MGM Grand Hotel Las Vegas
MGM Grand has one of the cleanest and funnest live poker rooms in Vegas. I actually won 6th place in the 5th tournament I ever entered in Vegas here taking home a big purse of $187. It's weird to be playing poker while the screams and roars of lion cubs ring out from the African Lion Habitat adjacent to the poker room, then you here wild music and dancing and people yelling and cheering the dancers on the bar 30 feet away in Centrifuge. The MGM Grand is BIG. Period. See it. Walk through it. Check out the front from the strip at night with the laser backed giant Gold Lion. If the typical rooms aren't enough for you then book the Signature Tower where every room is a suite. I liked the view from my standard room especially for the price.
MGM Grand Hotel Casino in Las Vegas emanates Emerald City photo
The biggest draw for MGM Grand itself is the MGM Grand Arena where massive UFC mixed martial arts fights and boxing events take place weekly. They also host giant big name concerts and celebrations. Crazy Horse Paris is an adult only showcase of Paris finest dancers showcased in a dazzling array of special lighting and stage effects. The biggest most powerful and mind blowing show I have ever seen was MGM's "KA", a show on a stage that is an absolute engineering marvel. Much better than Bellagio's "O" and just as expensive. Put it this way, when you spend $150 for a ticket and its worth every penny of it you know you have seen something you will never forget.
