Insider Secret - If you stay in the Petite, Hospitality, Tower or Penthouse Suite, the Mirage will give you priority seats to its restaurants and the Danny Gans show. |
The theme is tropical throughout the casino. The registration desk is stunning with a large aquarium of tropical fish of every color behind it. Keeps you occupied in case the queue should be long at check-in. Like all hotels on the Strip, they are very busy and sometimes there will be a line at check-in and sometimes you'll get lucky. In general, staff is friendly and accommodating.
Walking to your room is a hike, just like in the Aladdin, now "Planet Hollywood," the Bellagio or any other major casino on the Strip. Gives you a chance to see the lay-out of the casino floor and scope out where you want to eat. Elevators are conveniently divided by floor sections so they don't stop on every floor.
I always recommend you order a room that has been renovated and on the highest floor possible to get the best view. Rooms are decorated in a South Seas theme with simple but elegant furniture. Bathrooms are not huge but are clean. They have marble tops and make-up mirrors with lights. Beds are comfortable and room service is prompt and polite. All rooms come with high speed Internet and a business desk with a lamp.
Of course, if the standard rooms are not large enough, the Mirage Hotel Las Vegas has four types of suites to choose from. The Petite Suite is a grand 800 square feet with a seating area and a large screen TV, his and her bathrooms and floor to ceiling windows for a great view.
The Hospitality Suites have separate living and dining rooms, powder room and one to two bedrooms depending on the size of the suite. For entertaining your guests, a special hospitality menu is available. I highly recommend the Tower Suites with spectacular views and include similar amenities as the Hospitality Suites plus a whirlpool tub, bathrobes and a walk-in closet.
The ultimate suite at the Mirage Hotel Las Vegas is the Penthouse Suite available on either of the last two floors. You can believe the view is amazing from the penthouse. All suites include fresh flowers and priority seats for the "Danny Gans Show" and Mirage restaurants. Don't miss the chance to experience the Mirage Hotel Las Vegas.
