New York, New York Hotel Las Vegas is well-situated on the Strip with easy access to the Excalibur, the "Monte Carlo," the MGM Grand and the "Tropicana." Sky bridges make getting from one casino to the other safe and fast. Once in the Excalibur, you can walk to the Luxor and Mandalay Bay without ever going outside. At the MGM, the monorail is available to take you all the way up the Strip to the Sahara.

The New York, New York Hotel Las Vegas is a very upbeat and lively casino. The casino floor has plenty of action and drink service is fast and friendly. It's not as huge as the Venetian or Caesar's Palace so it's fairly easy to navigate and find places to eat as well as the elevator to your room.

Rooms are very reasonably priced considering the location on the Strip. There are many room options to choose from: the Skyline, Park Avenue Deluxe, Broadway Deluxe, Spa Deluxe, Marquis Suite, Players Suite and Ziggurat Suite. Rooms range from 300 square feet in the Skyline to 1,100 square feet in the Ziggurat Suite.

Check-in is quick and staff is friendly and accommodating. Like all major casinos in Vegas, they are trained to ask you if you want to upgrade. If it's a room with a view of the Strip, I recommend it and especially if it's on a higher floor. Bathrooms typically only have a shower tub combo so if you're looking for a full bath to soak in, you want to ask for the Broadway Deluxe or the Spa Deluxe room.

Make sure your room is above the roller coaster. It runs through the casino as well as along the Strip and sometimes it can be heard slightly in the rooms. It runs until 11pm. Don't expect to make coffee or tea in your room, the hotel does not provide coffee makers. If you don't want to spend the money at Starbucks every morning it could be cheaper to buy a coffee maker locally.

Rooms are contemporary and clean with an Art Deco look. They are all equipped with Internet access and electronic safes. Beds are very comfortable and water pressure in the showers is very good.

The Ziggurat Suite is the ultimate room at the New York, New York Hotel Las Vegas. It comes with a wet bar, his and her closets, a dining table and sitting area and a luxurious Jacuzzi. Showers are oversized and you'll enjoy his and her sinks and the separate vanity area. The location, price and comfort can't be beat at the New York, New York Hotel Las Vegas.
