Red Rock Resort Las Vegas
Red
Rock Resort Las Vegas, owned by Station Casinos, is an off-strip locals casino
on 70 acres in Summerlin. I absolutely love this place. Red Rock Casino Resort and
Spa is just minutes from Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area where its stunning
red cliffs inspired the name. The resort combines breathtaking views of both the Las
Vegas Strip and Red Rock Canyon at the same time; though you must choose one or the
other when making your room reservation. The pool complex sits on 3 acres. There are
hundreds of crystal chandeliers in the lobby and through out the casino containing
more than 3 million pieces of crystal in crazy shapes along with stunning art, flooring,
and lighting. Worth seeing for sure.
One of the most impressive decorations about Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas is their chandeliers, some seem to be floating overhead.
Red
Rock is one of the finest examples of modern architectural beauty on a large scale.
Great hotel service and the best barbecue ever at the Salt Lick. Red Rock Resort has
an awesome pool setup with 6 pools and 2 hot tubs with hundreds of trees, cabanas,
shady umbrellas and king bed size 2 foot thick outdoor sunbathing pads. These are
perfect for getting close and napping too. Unlike other pool scenes in Vegas you don't
have to pay extra to lay there. Music is piped in underwater, fountains wash over you as you take
in the sun and rest in cushioned lawn chairs IN the water. They have great food at
reasonable prices with typical drinks served pool side from the outside eateries.
Kelly and I danced for nearly two hours straight in one of the very best clubs in
town - Rande Gerber's Cherry Nightclub is herel. Every time my wife and I have gone
we have seen celebrities like Cindy Crawford and had a great time. Cherry has stunning
lighting and sound with a floating dance floor that vibrates right through your legs
with pounding decibels. It's nice cause you can go outside by the gorgeous pool and
outside bar when you need a break from the music, then come back in when you are ready.

An exclusive pool located outside the Cherry Lounge.
They have a 16-screen theater so the kids have more to do as well. Except
for the 1400 square foot "Mirage" suite I stayed in one year, the room here
at Red Rock was the finest. Kelly and I were uncrowded as we soaked together and watched
TV on the flat screen hung over the super deep oversized tub. IF you choose the "mountain
and pool view room" over the "strip view" you'll want to sit in the
window and stare for hours at the awesome mountain range, especially when the sun
is going down and the rocks turn a different color every 5 minutes. You might not
even use the 60" Plasma TV. Red Rock also provides free daily shuttle service
to and from the strip for shopping and site seeing with the hungry tourist masses.
Kelly
my wife loves this place. Gorgeous she just keeps repeating and she can't stop looking
at the chandeliers. She said she like the mountain view room the best and wouldn't
switch to a Strip view room for anything.
