Red Rock Hotel Las Vegas
Red
Rock Hotel Las Vegas is an offstrip locals focused high value casino
on 70 acres 22 minutes from the strip. I love this place. Red Rock Casino Resort and
Spa is real close to the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area with stunning
red cliffs and fun desert hikes abound. The resort rooms combine breathtaking views of both the Las
Vegas Strip and Red Rock Canyon at the same time; though you must choose one or the
other when making your room reservation. The pool complex sits on 3+ acres and it is absolutely one of the best places to hang all day. There are
many crystal chandeliers throughout the casino containing
more than 4 million crystals in crazy shapes along with stunning art, decorations,
and lighting.
The exclusive pool located outside the Cherry Lounge available for hotel guests and special parties during the day and to escape the pounding music at night for a drink or quiet time.
Red Rock has a 16-screen theater so the kids have plenty of fun. Except
for the 1400 square foot "Mirage" suite I stayed in one year, the room here
at Red Rock was the finest. Kelly and I soaked together and watched
TV on the flat screen hung over the super deep oversized bathtub. IF you choose the "mountain
and pool view room" over the "strip view" you'll want to sit in the
window and stare for hours at the awesome mountain range, especially when the sun
is going down and the rocks change colors every 5 minutes. Red Rock provides free daily shuttle service
to and from the strip for shopping.
Red
Rock is one of the finest examples in Vegas of gorgeous modern architectural beauty on a large scale.
Great hotel service and the best barbecue ever at the Salt Lick. Red Rock Resort has
an awesome pool setup with 7 pools and 4 hot tubs with hundreds of trees, cabanas,
shady umbrellas and king bed size outdoor sunbathing pads that you can use for free most days. These are
perfect for snuggling and sleeping. Music flows out underwater, fountains wash over you as you take
in the sun and rest in cushioned lawn chairs IN the water. They have great food at
reasonable prices with typical drinks served pool side from the outside eateries.
Kelly and I danced for nearly two hours straight in one of the very best clubs in
town - Rande Gerber's Cherry Nightclub. Every time my wife and I have gone
we have seen celebrities like Cindy Crawford and had a great time. Cherry has big deep sound with a floating dance floor that vibrates right through your legs
with pounding decibels. Tired? You can go outside by the gorgeous pool and
outside bar when you need a break from the music.
Impressive decorations abound at Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas like their chandeliers which seem to be floating.
Overview: massive recreation of pure American retail in a great location
Location: Center Las Vegas Strip
Restaurants:
My recommendations are Grand Café for the lowest price for a good quality meal, the Feast Buffet for great food in BIG quantities, the Salt Lick for some of the best BBQ I have ever had, I was surprised but during the summer you can order food by the pool from the Sandbar Poolside Café and it is not overpriced, and it is served fast. Good stuff. Red Rock has over 12 other places to eat including Italian and old faithful burgers.
