Rio Hotel Las Vegas Reservation
Rio Hotel Las Vegas reservation has fairly quick check-in when
you arrive. I always recommend the Valet parking because it makes the
start of the trip smooth and easy. Although this hotel is not as huge
as some of the Strip hotels like the Venetian or
Caesar's Palace, it still
takes lots of energy to haul your suitcases from the self- parking garage
to the front desk.
You will find the Rio near the I-15 and the Strip on West Flamingo. If
you walk to the Stripit will
take you about 20 minutes or so. Free shuttles are available from the
Rio to other Harrah's properties and run every 30 minutes. Cab fair to
the Strip is not too expensive. Depending on whether there is a convention
in town or not, there might be a line for either the shuttles or the cabs.
Rio Hotel Las Vegas reservation - where every room is
a suite. They range in size from 600 to 1,600 square feet. Most of the rooms have
incredible views of the Strip or the city so make sure you ask for the view you want.
I recommend staying in a suite in the Ipanema Tower. People I talked to said they
were huge and clean with soft beds, spacious bathrooms and a nice dressing area with
a vanity chair and a magnifying mirror with lights. Floor to ceiling windows let in
that spectacular view that you can't always get on the Strip.
The refrigerators are a nice addition so you can stock up with all your
favorite drinks and save some money. There's a convenience store called
the Green Grocer between the Rio and the neighboring "Gold Coast
Hotel." It's an easy 5 minute walk. When making your Rio Hotel Las
Vegas reservation, be sure to find out if your room has a coffee maker.
Not all rooms do. But the couches and sitting areas create a romantic
and friendly atmosphere. It's not like staying at the Bellagio
but you could say the rooms are comparable to the Paris
or the Aladdin.
The
pools are designed for partying. They have big waterfalls, sand and DJs spinning tunes
during the day in the summertime. They are not what I would call quiet. Inside the
casino, the Masquerade Show in the Sky is fairly loud too. It's definitely a party
atmosphere in this hotel. In general, the staff is friendly, accommodating and polite.
They are very helpful at the Players Club. Drink service is fairly prompt. Definitely
check out the Voodoo lounge and the view on the 51st floor of the Masquerade Tower.
To get around the cover charge, here's a tid-bit of information. Go to any of the
shops in the Rio and pick up the Voodoo lounge business cards by the registers. They
are your free pass if you use them before 10:30pm, Sunday through Friday. If
you like to party, the Voodoo lounge is a real hot spot. Outdoor double-decker terraces
with go-go girls, DJs or live music, couches and comfortable chairs as well as bars
for your favorite cocktails. You won't find a view like this anywhere on the Strip
except with a Rio Hotel Las Vegas reservation.
