The NASCAR Café has an all-American menu with burgers, fries, steaks, sandwiches, pasta, pizza and more. The main high-tech dining room is on the second floor with giant screens for watching the races. The sleek Carzilla bar is on the first floor.
With 20 bona fide NASCAR stock cars on the premises, there are lots of photo opps for you and your friends. For memorabilia, you can buy a 32 oz fuel can glass and have it signed by one of the drivers. If it's racewear merchandise you're looking for, make a pit stop at the Racewear Shop where you're sure to find everything you need.
In the Sahara Hotel Las Vegas NV, you'll find Speed - the Ride for thrill seekers. It races up to 70 mph with special motors and magnetic force. It's a rush! The Ride starts in the Café and quickly propels riders outside the casino near the Strip. You'll go deep underground through a tunnel, a huge loop, lots of twists and turns and straight up an incline to 224 feet above the Strip before sliding backwards through the whole ride again.
It's fast: 0-45 mph in 2 seconds and 35-70 mph in 2 seconds. The length of the track is over 1,300 feet, there is an over the shoulder bar to protect you in the car and ride time is 45 seconds. You have to be at least 54" to ride. An all day pass is just a few dollars more than a single ride and well worth it.
The roller coaster ride at the New York, New York is just as thrilling although it only goes to 203 feet above ground. Also check out the world's highest rides, the Big Shot, XSCREAM and Insanity-the Ride at the Stratosphere Hotel in Las Vegas.
To see what it feels like to race like the NASCAR drivers, 'start your engines' in the Sahara Hotel Las Vegas NV at the Cyber Speedway.
