Treasure Island Hotel Las
Vegas
Treasure Island was known for the longest time as the host
for the best Cirque du Soleil show in Vegas: Mystere is still the best show in
Vegas for the money in my opinion offering outlandish sets, costumes, music and
great look and feel polished with outstanding acts and theatre. It was focused
on being a great family themed casino but as we all know; casinos aren't for kids.
So once management realized the mistake they changed the name to TI. "TI"
is so corny but that's the world of marketing sometimes.
This ship is part of Treasure Island's free show called Sirens. It is performed
nightly on the Strip. The best time to check out all the details in front of TI
is during the day. Look carefully because skull rock can easily blend into the
landscape.
Treasure Island features probably the best free outdoor
show on the strip called Sirens of TI involving huge pirate ships, half dressed
pirate girls luring in the wayward sailors from another ship, followed by a heated
fireworks backed battle, loud crashing music, swinging men and cannons firing
across water soaked actors, with some diving into the waters below. This is done
right on the strip in front of the casino and when the show is active you really
cannot make your way past due to the crowds. Sirens is worth seeing at
least once espceially if you have kids but get there at least 45 minutes before
showtime or the little ones won't be able to see much. The show lasts about 30
minutes. TI

Treasure
Island Hotel in Las Vegas or TI is located across the strip from Wynn
and Venetian.
The shows are the best thing about TI and the price is always fair. I have always
had decent service here but then again I am not a jerk when it comes to little
details since I spend my time gambling.
Noisy casino is fun and the staff is helpful and friendly. Overview:
