Wynn Hotel Las Vegas Review

Wynn Hotel Las Vegas review - for the inside scoop on this deluxe hotel on the Strip. Before the opening of the Wynn casino, Steve Wynn, showman that he is, could be seen on a TV commercial, dangling from a crane at the top of his building declaring loudly - "I'm Steve Wynn and this is my hotel - the only one I've ever signed my name to." When it opened in April 2005 on his wife, Elaine's birthday, it was said to have cost about $2.7 billion.

Originally, it was going to be called, Le Reve (The Dream) after one of Steve's favorite Picasso paintings which is in his private art collection. Steve had just sold this painting for $139 million when he accidentally put a hole in it with his elbow! Oops. "This is the most money ever paid for a painting," according to Steve Wynn.

This Wynn Hotel Las Vegas Review image shows you the stylish living room which is just one part of the 1,816 square feet Salon Suite overlooking the Strip.
This picture of the Wynn Hotel Las Vegas Review features the elegant living room in the Salon Suite with a grand view of the Strip. The Suite has over 1,800 square feet to play in with a living room that includes a dining area, bar, a writing desk and a flat screen high-def TV. It connects to your own massage room and powder room via a foyer. You'll find a separate shower and bath, plush towels and walk-in closets in the bathroom. When the view of the Strip becomes overwhelming in your luxurious bedroom, simply pick up the remote to close the curtains.

In the middle of the desert, "Steve Wynn" ordered hundreds of tall pines from North Carolina to line the front of his casino as well as his 18-hole Wynn Las Vegas Golf Course. The showpiece outside the casino is a 150 foot tall mountain and waterfall flowing into an artificial lake.

In this Wynn Hotel Las Vegas review, note that the staff at the casino goes out of their way to be helpful. Makes it difficult to stay anywhere else on the Strip. They are professional and friendly. If you are a fussy customer, you will appreciate the well-mannered staff and the impeccably clean rooms.

The rooms start at 600 plus square feet. The beds are large, soft but firm and incredible to sleep in. Pillows are large too and the linen is European. Very soft towels. Huge bathrooms with separate shower and tub. Plenty of bathroom amenities and beautiful furniture with romantic colors.

Floor to ceiling windows in the room give you an expansive view of the Strip, the golf course or the man-made lake. The higher up you can stay the better. I recommend a room on the 30th floor or above.

Pool area is gorgeous. The design is free-form; water is warm (seasonally) but only 3.5 feet deep. No need to abscond with the pool towels, you can use as many as you like. You can find European bathing (topless) in the upper cabana pool.

Restaurants and shopping are high-end and on the expensive side at the Wynn. The Esplanade carries only top brand names like Dior, Louis Vuitton, Brioni and Chanel. For additional shopping, visit the Ferrari boutique or the Wynn LV NV for its branded furnishings.

In Wynn Hotel Las Vegas review, you'll find restaurants are award-winning with many choices from Japanese Okada, American SW Steakhouse, Chinese Wing Lei to Italian Bartolotta. Terrace Point is open 24 hours for fine American cuisine and Zoozacrackers is reminiscent of a New York style bar with plenty of TVs showing sports games.
