Project 3355 Venetian Palazzo Las Vegas

Project 3355 Venetian Palazzo Las Vegas is no longer a rumour. Project 3355 has remained secret long enough. 3355 will be a 53 story condo tower, the same height as Palazzo, and sit on a 3/4 acre parcel between the Venetian and the Palazzo while remaining connected to both hotels. Project 3355 will launch in late 2008 with nightclubs, restaurants, spas, special events, outdoor terraces and pools marketed toward the client with worldly, sophisticated tastes.

LVS, Las Vegas Sands, is a partner in Project 3355 Venetian Palazzo Las Vegas. Las Vegas Sands has purchased the land and air rights for $42 million dollars. Probably part of its $5 billion senior secured credit facility that is used to refinance LVS's indebtedness. Lots of top business men involved in this project: Kevin Berg, creator of KBA Marketing, Howard Daft, industrialist and noted philanthropist and Shane Christensen, a venture capitalist are the founders of 3355.

On the food and club side are Sammy Sass and Marc Merran who will bring the superb club Mo*Vida from London to Las Vegas along with Sass Café. Mo*Vida will be 30,000 square feet and seat 2000 guests running from 9pm to 5am every night while giving out an intimate and sophisticated yet glamorous and energetic atmosphere.

Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten and Phil Suarez will develop destination restaurants like Jean George Noodle Shop, a 100 seat Asian dish and Sushi Bar restaurant and JG Global Diner open 24 hours. Their renowned Culinary Concepts will cater all private events on the property for Project 3355 Venetian Palazzo Las Vegas.

The condo tower above 3355 will hold over 400 luxury residences bringing the total number of rooms for the Venetian, Palazzo and 3355 to 8000. A model of 3355 is on display in the Venetian, near the entrance to the ballrooms, just past the Venetian Showroom. The condo will sit between the Venetian and the Palazzo as seen in the photo of the model.

All of the rooms at the Venetian are suites. Expect sunken living rooms, pedestal beds and bathrooms large enough to have a TV. There may actually be 2 or more TVs in your room. Try to get a room overlooking the Strip, and you will see the volcano at the Mirage and the Sirens of "Treasure Island." You can easily walk next door to the "Palazzo" or the Fashion Show Mall and soon to Project 3355 Venetian Palazzo Las Vegas.
