Vegas Shopping Fashion Mall

Vegas shopping Fashion Mall is across from Wynn Casino and is the largest mall on the Strip. I visit Fashion Mall often. Some say it's 2 million square feet. I don't know what that means as I have nothing to compare it to. But there are 350 stores and restaurants in the mall. I discover a few more each time I go. Plan to spend an afternoon there. But also plan to be a bit confused the first time. There are three levels and they do not intersect is all I can say.

From massages in the central location - where all 3 levels meet - to dining at Maggiano's with its awesome view of Wynn's mega landscaping, Fashion Show Mall (as it's known to the locals) is designed to give you a personal experience. One of main reasons I live in Las Vegas, is because it is so customer friendly. And Fashion Show Mall makes itself a part of that traditional Vegas experience I look forward to. They want you to stay all day in Vegas shopping Fashion Mall. All week is ok too.

A fortune was spent on creating Fashion Show Mall. Look up outside and you will see a steel structure hovering 130 feet above your head. It's known as the Cloud. It was designed to shelter you against the desert elements in Vegas, heat and sun, cold and wind. Embedded in the canopy are 4 moveable plasma screens.

Inside the mall, there are more LED screens showing awesome footage of events in the Fashion Show Mall. At other times I have seen astonishing commercials playing out in a sort of wrap-around visual experience. Opposite the screens sits a glass booth, it serves as a kind of control tower for digital images, sounds and lights. Because at Fashion Show Mall, there is a good chance you will see a "fashion show" with lots of lovely models parading down "a catwalk that wasn't there."

"Illusion is a great part of Vegas" and Fashion Show Mall uses it to good effect, producing a catwalk and glass house that rises up out of the floor. No matter how many times you see it, you will always be astonished - it's big and beautiful and made of glass and metal. The building that rises up out of the floor that you were just walking over can hold several cars. And sometimes they do. I have seen a car loaded with "beautiful Las Vegas models" drive out of the glass building and down the catwalk.

Christmas is another great time to visit the Mall. They pull out all the stops with displays, Santa's everywhere, fashion shows, product sampling and giveaways. Amongst the astonishing effects is the creation of snow. Don't be surprised to see light fluffy flakes whirling out amongst the shoppers. I think more visitors will start coming to Vegas during Christmas to take advantage not only of the deals, but the displays at Christmas time in the likes of Las Vegas Fashion Mall and Bellagio Hotel Casino to mention a few. Every effect is subtle and created with the greatest taste and executed flawlessly, like a "Cirque Du Soleil" show. Still, everyday is a great day to visit Vegas shopping Fashion Mall.
