Carrot Top - I tied Scott Thompson's shoe laces together while he was napping in science class in the 5th grade at Clearlake Middle School in Cocoa. Scott IS Carrot Top. When the bell rang he jumped straight up and tripped trying to get out of his chair. The joke is now, of course, on me as Carrot Top dominates the entertainment capital of the world while I write silly self inflicted diatribes. Good going Scott! Saw him in the Las Vegas Fashion Mall the other day and he was as polite and friendly as ever. I remember he was a great drummer as well, whereas I played but my family could not afford lessons or drums.

Carrot Top the performer, the show, or as some know him Flame, has been a Las Vegas staple for longer than most. His performances deliver steady fun, big value and are hardly ever canceled due to illness.

Many consider him the absolute all time king of "prop based comedy". Currently he is performing at the Luxor Hotel Casino in Las Vegas. Carrot Top uses huge trunks packed with original prop inventions. He calls them visual punch lines. These props are the actual jokes many times and it can be quite hilarious to watch this cool style of delivery. Plus it's nice that the show is a little more high energy than the typical stand up comedian deal.

Carrot Top invented high heels with training wheels for big girls that like to ride, airline vomit bags with missing luggage pictures on them like the missing people milk cartons. His wackiest prop of all is his flamboyant hair held up with barrettes to promote his resemblance to the Wendys girl logo. Carrot Top has won alot of awards in 10+ years of performing and I wonder sometimes how much of that is due to his marketing degree verses timing verses sheer comedic talent and showmanship. Scott has performed numerous times on The Tonight Show, as well as Comedy Centrals Politically Incorrect, and Sunday Comics on Fox Network.

I don't know of one person that has ever seen carrot top perform that has been dissappointed so my advice is give it a shot - Carrot Top
